Reach a 50k or greater distance and this qualifies you for The Cherokee Ultra in 2027!

Its time to battle at the fort!! 3 Hour, 6 Hour,6 Hour ruck, 12 Hour, and 24 HOUR plus if you are able to run 100 miles you will earn a buckle!! (FOR 2026 WE WILL BE OFFERING A $500 CASH PRIZE FOR THE PERSON WHO WINS AND BREAKS THE OVERALL 24HR COURSE RECORD OF 113.15!) The Cash price is gratefully donated by UNRUNNING!

Also BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR, Tennessee’s Double Ultra Festival — run BOTH the Fort Frenzy Ultra Festival 24 Hour and the Three Sisters Ultra Festival 24 Hour and both medals will be designed to lock together creating a large custom medal. You will also receive a custom TN DOUBLE ULTRA FESTIVAL PLACQUE that holds both medals. We will be changing the design and style up for 2025. **Be sure to register under the TN Double Ultra Festival buttons on both race events. If you have already registered for the 24 Hour race and want to be moved to the Double, just let us know.***

If you ran this event last year then you know how great the views and terrain are for new and veteran ultra runners alike. Just like last year we plan to offer a great running adventure that not only challenges you but allows your family and friends access to you. We find this important as we are race directors that are also about family and including them in our adventures.

Course Description 🏞
It’s a 3.65 mile loop with right at 500 feet of elevation per loop. The trail goes around Tellico lake and will start and end at the pavilion. It is a state park so the trail is 100% runnable and 99% on trail. The only section that is not on trail starts at the pavilion and is paved.
