Description:

New trails beckon at Fort Dickerson off Chapman Highway just south of downtown. The site is an old Civil War fort high atop the surrounding terrain, and numerous trails wind along the hillside, with one circumnavigating the cold, deep quarry in the southeastern part of the park. We will offer both a 5k and 10k course, the 10k being a double loop, and of course we’ll offer a whizbang Kids Trail Mile, to boot.
