FOOL’S RUN 10K

Description: The 47th Fool's Run is now in the history books. We had a great day with lots of runners and walkers, and perfect weather. A big thank you to all of you who were with us this year. Runners and walkers came from all over Western Pennsylvania as well as neighboring states to be run. Race shirts were provided by our corporate sponsors, S & T Bank and Indiana Regional Medical Center. Although we ordered "heavy," or we thought we did, we ran short on a couple sizes. This week we will be placing a second print order with S & S Screen Printing and will deliver or mail a shirt to you if you didn't get one. Our goal is to make sure every runner, walker and volunteer receives a shirt. Awards were presented to the top-three overall male and females finishers, and the top male and females masters. Top-three age group winners. as noted below, will also received awards. Awards were provided through the generosity of many individuals, local businesses, and friends of IRRC. Visit the link below for a full list of our sponsors. Finishers' medals were presented to all runners and walkers as they crossed the finish line. Bottled water compliments of SERVPRO of Indiana County was at the finish line. ​ Post-race refreshments included chips, cupcakes, and homemade cookies provided by Gearhart's Grab N Go, Dayton, PA and Scott Bowman of Bowman Land Surveying. The cookies were a big hit and we plan to continue them in future years. New for 2026: Chip timing provided by Gingerbread Timing. Live results were uploaded every 30 seconds at RunSignUp as runners and walkers crossed the finish line. Race day check in to the RunSignUp app was new to us this year and it went very smoothly thanks to the efforts of IRRC member Laura Yevchak and her team. ​ Watch for the date for the 48th Fool's Run to be held in early April of 2027.
