Description:

The Folegandros Sunset Trail race consists of one route 10km starting at the sunset and finishing almost at night. By clicking on the “Schedule” you will read about all mini-events included those days. Folegandros island is 15 mile South-East of Milos island and 22 miles North-West from Santorini island. It is a generally mountain island with plenty of stones and vertical cliffs. The ancient Greeks called it “Sidiran” meaning the metalic island. Folegandros island has two main villages, Chora was build on the East side next to a 200m vertical cliff and Ano Meria village at the North part of the island, where the more traditional houses are located.
