Firecracker Trek – Sherman

Join us for the Firecracker TREK 5K & 10K trail run through the scenic and challenging Herman Baker and Binkley Park Trails in Sherman, Texas! Rolling hills, cliffside views, switchbacks, and flowing rivers await!

Course Overview
– Surface: Technical rock and dirt single track, rocky/rooty trails, & bridges
– Course: Herman Baker Trail, and part of Binkley Park Trail
– Elevation: Slight elevation per 5K loop
– Location: Herman Baker Park (2500 W. Center St., Sherman, TX 75092)
– Weather: Average Historic Temperatures for July around 96 degrees Fahrenheit (36 C)
– Cupless Race: Please bring a cup or bottle, we don’t serve cups!

The start and finish are located near the parking lot at Herman Baker Park (2500 W. Center St. Sherman, TX)

Saturday:
*please arrive early to ensure enough time to use restroom and pickup bib*
6:30AM to 7:20AM – Packet Pickup
7:20AM – Race Brief
7:30AM – 10K Starts
7:35AM – 5K Starts
9:30AM – Award Ceremony
11:00AM – Cutoff (3 Hours)
