Description: Whether you're an experienced climber or looking for a new challenge, the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb at the U.S. Bank Center in downtown Milwaukee is the event for you! Help impact lung health throughout Wisconsin. This is a competitive and non-competitive event and is open to men, women and children of all ages and fitness types. The Fight for Air Climb is a vertical stair climb benefiting the American Lung Association. On Saturday, March 18, join an estimated 3,500 participants for this extraordinary climb of your life to the top of the tallest building in the state of Wisconsin. Depending on participation type, participants will start up the stairwell every 5 seconds, starting at 6:30 a.m. Awards will be given to the top fundraisers as well as the fastest finishers. You can walk or run to the top, but most importantly, you will have fun raising money for an important cause. Funds raised at this event support the American Lung Association’s clean air initiatives, vital programs and research in the fight against lung cancer, asthma, COPD and other lung diseases. The process begins with corporate sponsorship donations of $3,000 - $45,000, with the balance generated from participating climbers each raising a minimum of $100 (required to climb). Corporate teams, families, friends and competitive athletes will participate in this unique event and help support the life-saving programs of the American Lung Association. Registration is $15 before January 13, 2017 and $25 starting January 14, 2017.
