Description:
The Fausett Farms Sunflower 5K and Fun Run is located in the foothills of Dawson County at Fausett Farms Sunflowers. This is a family friendly event is on October 11, 2025. There will be a 5K option running through the fields around thousands of sunflowers. We will also offer a 1 mile fun run option for kids that takes you through and around the sunflowers. The entire course takes place in a sunflower field with some uneven terrain. There is one climb at the halfway point of the 5K.
After the run, take a walk and explore the thousands of sunflowers to get the perfect family picture or selfie. Fausett Farms Sunflowers is one of the most Instagrammed spots in Georgia! And just a mile from Fausett’s you will find thousands of pumpkins and goodies at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm and the tallest cascading waterfall East of the Mississippi at Amicalola Falls State Park!
All registered participants will receive continental style breakfast snacks and coffee, an event t-shirt if registered by Octocber 4th, a finisher gift upon completion and a Chick-fil-A biscuit post run. Register today through UltraSignUp.
Event is open to runners and walkers. Leashed pets are welcome on the property, but can not participate in the run itself. This run is being presented by the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Fausett Farms Sunflowers.
Please note, we are dealing with mother nature and sunflowers are not guaranteed. Our 2023 and 2024 fields were gorgeous! The run will happen regardless. Over a million sunflowers will be planted throughout the season, amongst a 30+ acres of fields.
