Description:

The course is only marked from the start to the fell gate at the bottom of Nab Scar.

You must keep to the East side of the wall coming off Dove Crag.

Please note that the FRA do not allow the use of certain GPS functions for navigation in their races, you must be able to navigate using a map and compass to enter this race on the high fells. Fairfield Horseshoe was first ran as a race in 1966 and is one of the oldest courses in the calendar.
