Fainting Goat Vineyards Trail Race

Description:

Join us for the inaugural Fainting Goat Vineyard Trail Race at Burnt Mountain Preserve (3.5 mile total distance) for a celebration of trail running, breathtaking views and local winery. Run from the scenic winery to the trails of Burnt Mountain Preserve (.5 miles away with views of Sharptop Mountain) and into the 2.5 mile trail system that protects the Grandview Lake watershed. The first part of the singletrack trail is a long gradual downhill, with the last .8 mile of 600′ fairly steep climb and a lot of switchbacks rising above Champion Creek.

When done enjoy a wine garden finish; complete with live music, 1- 5oz wine (21 and over) and BBQ/Veggie included (more wine available for purchase). Trail Race Finisher medals and commemorative wine glass for all! Awesome raffle prizes! Proceeds will go to support Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center.

Music, food and wine until Noon! Event is rain or shine! Plenty of indoor space and outside tents should it be raining.
