Description:

RUN for FUN in Tryon, NC in June, one of the hottest months in the Carolinas! The Inagural EquiTek 5k Cross Country Race start clock chimes at 9AM inside Foothills Equestrian Park. The course offers a few challenging hills and a crush & run footing mixed with hard packed dirt trail. A Route Map is available for the 5k, 3.10 mile circuit.

Along with this very scenic running opportunity, you will recieve a classy sport shirt. The shirt is designed by EquiTek and its sponsors. The Foothills Equestrian and Nature Park has offically been deemed one of the best running courses in The Carolinas. Escape the ordinary 5k and come play on the same cross country route as world class eventing and fox hunting horsemen and women!

Event day, June 16th parking will be plentiful so expect easy access coming and going from the course. Just across the street the Derby Mania Horse Show will be in full swing. Plenty of seats and benches to sit and rest your feet if you wanted to watch the show day begin after your 5k run!

We’re very excited to work with the Foothills Equestrian and Nature Park for the inagural EquiTek 5k Cross Country Race. A premiere horse jumping and training facility. The registration fee is $25 with discounts for family, corporate and barns wanting to run.
