Description:

In 1978, the St. Moritz municipality’s Sports Committee met for the first time to offer a summer sports event as a counterpart to the Engadin Skimarathon. The Engadin Skimarathon had been a well-known as a popular winter competition for several years, so now a highlight for the summer should follow suite.

Almost 240 participants took part in the first event. Today, the sporting event with our various disciplines has become a popular family event and has a good 2400 participants.
