Elk Kings Trail Races

Beautiful and challenging courses in the Tillamook Forest, a 25K and a 50K that involve rugged running and scrambling up and over two mountains.
These races are steep and technical, run on single-track trails in the Tillamook State Forest. Runners will summit two mountains – Elk and Kings Mountains – and involve 5,800 (25K) and 7,500 (50K) feet of gain. There’s some scrambling involved and ropes are in place to help with a descent.
Plan on your quads hurting the next day, but your sense of accomplishment will far outweigh that. These are tough routes, but a perfect fall day in the forest with an awesome post-race set up where you’ll linger with friends.
