DYS 5K Trail Run/Walk

Last year, our first annual 5K Run/Walk at Tarrywile Park went so smoothly that this year we’re taking things a few steps further. Come for the run, stay for the fun! The first change is that the 2017 DYS 5K Trail Run/Walk will take place entirely within Tarrywile Park, on moderate terrain that ranges from wide grassy paths to narrow dirt trails. View the route map here. Then, in addition to our Kids’ Fun Run at 9:30 a.m., there will be children’s entertainment and activities, music, and some of Greater Danbury’s best food trucks! Kids’ activities will include face painting, Paint-a-Pumpkin, arts and crafts, crazy dancing, and balloon animals created just for them by our friendly clown!
