Doan Creek Trail Run

Welcome to the only trail ultra marathon in the City of Cleveland. This is a very special and unique running urban trail experience in a hidden elusive gem known to very few NE Ohio residents (even locals). There are no known published maps of the trail system. It starts around the Lower Shaker Lake and once it crosses west past Coventry descends into the gorge of Doan Creek (Brook). The course undulates in a narrow corridor between several busy suburban streets. However once inside one gains a sense of being transported deep into a forest. Urban ruins mixed with the natural beauty of the Doan Creek Gorge set this apart from other local trail runs.
