Description: Start: Memorial Center, Hope, ID (15 miles from Sandpoint)
Proceed to Trail 444 (Strong Creek) to Top of Roundtop Mtn. and WATER DROP. Stay on Trail 120 to Trestle Creek Road TH (16 miles/1st Exchange) continue to Moose Lake Warming Hut (22 miles/2nd Exchange) and FULL AID STATION. Continue to Moose Lake TH and do Moose Lake Loop counterclockwise. You will go over Moose Mtn, run by Moose Lake and return to Warming Hut (33 miles/3rd Exchange) FULL AID/DROP BAGS. From Hut continue to Lake Darling/Mount Pend Oreille Trail, summit Mt. Pend Oreille then continue to Lunch Peak and down the road to and follow flagging leading you to Trail 526 (45 miles/4th Exchange continue to Junction with Trail 55, HUCKLEBERRY HEAVEN!!!! Take Trail 55 to Trail 57 to Trailhead at Trout Creek Road/FS 232 (52 miles/5th Exchange) and FULL AID STATION WITH 13 HOUR CUTOFF. Continue down FS 232 to and follow markings to (57 miles/6th Exchange) Continue through closed Gate and go to Trestle Creek Road, turn left and go 1.50 miles to finish at the snowmobile parking lot.

TOTAL DISTANCE 100km/62 Miles ELEVATION GAIN 15,000.

Two Full Aid Stations. Two Remote Water drops WELL MARKED. Solo Runners can have 1 drop bag and access to it at Mile 22/33 (Moose Lake Station)

Your First Leg is 16 miles then there are 6 Relay Exchanges with 6 legs of varying distance: 6,11,12,7.3,5.5,and 4.5. Teams will be provided instructions to each exchange point and can crew or give aid ONLY at those points. Relay Teams compete in 1 Division and you can COMBINE LEGS as you wish

CUTOFFS: One. Trout Creek Road, Mile 50 you must be out of Aid Station by 6 p.m.

Trail is runnable at times and sometimes not. Scree and rocks, lots of growth, huckleberries, possible wildlife, some trees to go through, over or around. Some water available from natural sources. Use of some Forest Service roads to connect single track. Relay Exchange areas are easily accessible. Finish is four miles from Lake Pend Oreille.
