Desert Challenge Paracas Ultra Trail

The desert of Ica, in the southern coast of Peru, is the scene of the ultra trail marathon “PERU 8MIL DESERT CHALLENGE”, the pedestrian race also known as “The Walking Dakar”, which will run on July 20 and 21st, 2018. For its 6th edition, competitors in the categories of 100 K and 25 K, will follow the route from the Oasis of Huacachina, near the town of Ica, to the Center of Interpretation of the National Reserve of Paracas on the Pacific coast.
