Description:

Come to rural Killingworth Ct for the inaugural running (or hiking) of the Deer Lake Trail Run. The challenging four-mile course has almost 500 ft. of elevation gain as it meanders throughout the 253-acre Deer Lake Scout Camp property, and offers many scenic views as you navigate the ever-changing elevations on well-marked trails that span the property. Proceeds from the event will go toward the rebuilding of the adventure ropes course which fell victim to storm damage. This is a true trail course and the technical nature of the terrain will mean that you will be exposed to rocks, roots, possible mud, etc. There will be awards for male & female winners of numerous age groups as well as the overall male & female winners.
