Description:

The Deception Pass 25k (and its sister race, the Deception Pass 50k) boast dramatic trailscapes you simply won’t find anywhere else. Tidal flow and whirlpools result in standing waves and rolling eddies, and you’ll have a front-row seat for all of it. Running nearly every inch of fun single track Deception Pass State Park has to offer, you’ll stride over Deception Pass Bridge, through dense old growth forest, on beach fronts and grassy seaside bluffs. We think you’ll find this a nearly perfect way to wrap up your year, and start looking forward to the next season. This year’s 25k will be Saturday, December 13th. Check-in will start at 7:00 am, with the race starting at 8:00 am. Post-race, we’ll have a great spread, with fresh, hot pizza and other tasty fare, a variety of beverages, and live music as runners finish. With such a great post-race party, all the fantastic views, and a chance to hang out all weekend in a gorgeous park surrounded by your trail runner friends: Why run anywhere else?
