DESCRIPTION
The Dark 2 Dawn 10K and six-hour timed ultra are simultaneous trail races held at the scenic Indian Camp Creek Park in St. Charles County. Each race takes place on a 6.7mile-ish loop route featuring a combination of open-field crossings and wooded single track, consisting mainly of dirt with a bit of rock mixed in. The terrain is flat to rolling hills. The 10K is one loop, and six-hour timed option challenges you to knock down as many loops as you have in you in the given time frame.

​** Please be aware that this is a trail race and the mileage for the loop/course is approximate; you may end up running a little over than the suggested 10K per loop. NO WIMPS AND NO WHINING!

START TIME
The start time for the 10K will be 12:01 am and six-hour timed ultra distance will be 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Check in begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Pick up your race packet, pitch a tent and enjoy live music from 9 to 11 p.m.

CUT-OFF TIMES
10K and 6 Hours Timed event is Six Hours. Six-hours timed ultra participants MUST start their final loop by 4:30 a.m. Race runs from 12:01 am to 6:05 am!

AID STATIONS
There will be one aid station at the start/finish that will be supplied with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, snacks, first aid and enthusiastic volunteers! Restrooms will be available at the start/finish. We will also have one unmanned water drop only along the course approximately 3 miles on the loop. Everyone must run with a handheld or hydration vest.

SWAG
Included in your registration fees:

– Each registered runner will receive a custom technical singlets that will be gender specific from Headsweats
– Post race breakfast served Sunday morning

****We cannot guarantee SWAG for Race Registrations made after May 31, 2019 and Race Day Registrations but will have an alterative race swag for all late sign ups ****

Please consider this factor carefully for Race Day registration. ​

AWARDS
Awards will be given for the first overall male and female finisher for the 10K distance and for the top three male and female finishers based on number of loops finished and time in which they were completed for the six-hour timed ultra. All finishers will receive a custom finisher medal and a shot glass!

POST RACE
Continental breakfast will be served post-race once all participants are finished.
