Cross Country Trail Marathon

This event will take place in its entirety in Virginia on the Cross County Trail surfaced by asphalt, pavement, crushed stone, and dirt. More information on the race is below. Come and join us for fun running on a super trail!!! The 2020 course is a fast one – the same course that was used for the race in 2019. The course surface is a combination of concrete, asphalt, dirt, and gravel with most of the course being asphalt and concrete. The race uses 6.56 miles of the Cross County Trail so marathoners run two loops of the course, and half marathoners run one loop of the course. There is about 440 feet of elevation gain and loss in the half marathon, and 880 feet of gain and loss in the marathon.
