This relay lets you compete as a group of friends while still keeping your weekend intact. Runners on average will run 7.5 miles total over 2 sections. You can also register to run this solo!

Corner Canyon is a favorite to many runners along the Wasatch Front. A vast network of trails truly makes Corner Canyon unique. This same network of trails is what will make this race a great relay. We wanted everybody to be able to experience all that Corner Canyon has to offer and we feel this is the way to do it. Each section varies from downhill, to rolling, to climbs. This relay uses almost every trail Corner Canyon has to offer, our personal favorites are the all new foot traffic only trails, Casper and Phantom!

Please check out the website for all the info you will need. Ask us if you have any questions, Happy Trails! 50k Relay and solo runners will start 6:30 am. Course Closes at 3:00 pm. Salt Lake County Flight Park Aid Station Cutoff (Mile 19.1) – 11:30 am

All runners should arrive at least 45 minutes before their races start time to check in and pick up their packet. Pre-race announcement 10 minutes before each start time.

Race day packet pick up: Starts at 5:00 am. Please arrive as early as possible to ensure a smooth and stress free start. Think of it as a chance to mingle with your fellow runners before the real fun starts!

If you are still racing we will hold the item. You won’t want to miss this, the raffle will have some good stuff!

Cornhole: Our favorite game! We will have at least 4 games going at the finish line for runners and spectators. If you don’t know what Cornhole is you are missing out!

Bag Drop: There is no bag drop due to start and finish being the same! Check out the map on bottom to view the start area to get an idea of parking and distance.

Parking: Free parking, there is about 50 spaces in the arena. Once that fills you can park along the Draper Cycle Park which is right next to the arena. There are hundreds of spaces. If you can car pool or be dropped off every little bit helps!

Word of mouth: Your friends and family are the best way to promote this race. There is a course for everyone and running is much more fun with a buddy!

Course Sections
Section 1
3.5 miles +66 ft/-229 ft
The relay starts off fast. You do a lap around the arena and head out on the paved trails. Early in the morning this will be a beautiful and cool run. There is plenty of parking at Wheadon Farm Park which is why we chose it for our first aid station.

Section 2
3.7 miles +252 ft/-90 ft
You start off with a climb out of Wheadon Farm Park to get you back on the Porter Rockwell Trail. Follow this back to the Arena taking in views of the sunrise.

Section 3
4 miles +1,198 ft/-22 ft
Climb baby climb! This section has the most elevation gain. This section is also one of most beautiful areas in Corner Canyon. Taking you past Ghost Falls and through several foot traffic only trails, you will not be disappointed in your climb.

There is not much parking at Peakview and there may be some construction in the area. Runners will be spread out making parking manageable. You have about a quarter of a mile on a good dirt road to get here.

Section 4
4.1 miles +694 ft/-388 ft
This section is rolling trails and great views. You will be running on Annes trail until you reach the aid station at Maple Hollow. Again not much parking here but teams will be spread by now.

Section 5
4.1 miles +42 ft/-1,027 ft
Your quads will love the downhill. You descend down to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail which takes you the your next aid station at Flight Park State Recreation Area. Plenty of parking here. You can also watch all the paragliders.

Section 6
3.5 miles +485 ft/-447 ft
Another easier rolling section. You take Bonneville Shoreline Trail back out and stay on it the entire way to the Red Rock Aid Station.

Section 7
3.9 miles +980 ft/-351 ft
Another climbing section. You take Bonneville Shoreline Trail out past Potato Hill and drop down to meet up with Clark’s Trail. Clark’s Trail is where you begin your big climb and you end your section back at the Peakview Trailhead.

Section 8
4.1 miles +168 ft/-1,347 ft elevation
The most downhill and again in the most beautiful area of Corner Canyon for the first half of the section. The downhill miles will fly by you as you finish off the 50k relay for your team!

30.5 miles and +3,865 ft elevation total

74% Dirt Trail, 20% Paved, 6% Dirt Road

*There will be Trail Marshals at several intersection to keep you from getting lost or cutting. (We need volunteers for this!)
