Challenging 10K OUT-AND-BACK and 5K POINT-TO-POINT; Come join the fun and support our efforts to make walking and biking through this most lovely of river valleys safer. Enjoy the mountain views and the greening of the landscape as you run or walk from the Cooper Landing Community Hall to “Our Point of View” on a bluff above beautiful Kenai Lake. This rustic trail is what we call the Safety Path. While it is far from the standards of separated and paved pathways that are built today, we use it to travel from place to place without having to walk or bike directly on the highway. Of course, we hope to have our Walkable Community Project built to make our whole town, from MP 45-50 or all the way to MP 60 more connected and traversable some day. Come lend your support to help make that happen.
