Conquer the Wall

Can you Conquer the Wall at Snow Summit?  One mile all uphill starting at 7000 feet in beautiful Big Bear Lake.  Take the challenge that has produced champions, including Ryan Hall, Chad Hall, Caleb Webb and Max Sannes.

First 2/3 of race follows dirt fire road then last 1/3 is on rough, grassy hillside.  Most participants will not “run” the whole event and generally the finishing time is about equivalent to a 5k.  Check website results page for examples.

Conquer the Wall is a fundraiser for the Big Bear High School Cross Country teams.

Event details and schedule

Race begins promptly at 9 am with free parking at Snow Summi Ski Resort.  Spectators can purchase a discounted chair lift ticket to view the finish (or hike up the trail).  Participants get free chair lift ticket down.

Many individidual and team awards given, include $100 to top male & female.  Tshirts are included in price but upgraded tsthirts available for additional charge.

Packet pick up will be Friday 4:00 – 8:00 pm, location tbd, as well as Saturday morning starting at 7:30 am.
