The Colt 45 Trail Run features the beautiful trails in Colt Creek State Park.

NEW DISTANCES in 2024!

There are now FOUR distances, for those who want an “extra kick”…

The “Colt Double Malt” is the 45 miler with a BONUS LOOP thrown in for a total of 60 miles.
The “Original Colt 45” is three 14-mile loops with a 3-mile starter loop for a total of 45 miles.
The “Colt Silver” is two 14-mile loops which equals a 45K.
The “Colt Mini” replaces the furlongs distance and will be 1 x 14M loop.

The course will be open from 7am-11pm for all four distances.

Packet Pickup begins 1 hour prior to race start times, beginning at 5:45am

Start Times:
Colt Double Malt – 7:00am
Colt 45 – 7:30am
Colt Silver – 8:00am
Colt Mini- 9:00am

AID STATIONS –
There will be 4 aid stations per loop. (Start/Finish, AS 1 (twice) & AS 2. It is approximately 3 miles from the S/F to AS #1. It’s 5 miles back to AS #1, approximately 3 miles to AS #2, and 3 miles back to the S/F.

POST-RACE:
Handcrafted Finisher Awards will go to all who finish. The top male and female runners for each distance will also be presented with an award. Once you get your award, grab a camp chair, hang out at the post-race picnic, and cheer on the other runners!
