Description:

The fell has a rich past, which includes pre-Roman settlements and industrial history. The event will be half race, half social run over two laps of 3.5km. The first lap will be a group run to check out the route and the second the race. Please bring a prize – anything will do, if you bring a prize you will win a prize. Park as directed by marshals at the carpark at the top of Cockfield main street. DO NOT PARK IN THE VILLAGE. No map required, you will be shown the route on race night. Suitable for beginners with off road running shoes.
