Cirque Series – Cannon Mountain

Description:

6.7 miles• 3,385’ft vert Participants will start at the Peabody base area, and then wind their way over to the Aerial Tram’s base terminal. From there, participants climb up the steep and rocky Kinsman Ridge hiking trail in order to get to the top of the tram. Once racers reach the tram’s top terminal, contestants will cross the Cannonball chairlift and run down the Upper Ravine ski trail, then climb up Upper Hardscrabble to reach The Saddle. From there, the participants will climb to Mittersill’s summit, speed down to that base area, and then traverse back over to Cannon’s Peabody base area. Ultimately, the course has a length of 6.61 miles and a total vertical climb of 3386 feet.
