Join us Sunday, August 29th for the Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival. This is a 1/2M, 10K, 5K and Kids 1K trail race that starts and finishes at the Cal-Wood Education Center. It’s run on a number of different trails throughout the beautiful private properties of Cal-Wood and Balarat Outdoor Education Center.

The Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival is a promotion of health, fun and fitness to support the Cal-Wood Education Center, a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Cal-Wood provides outdoor experiences, specifically outreaching to low-income and minority groups and race proceeds will allow Cal-wood to increase access to outdoor education experiences and life transforming opportunities for youth and low-income families.

Come on up the night before and stay, enjoy a delicious dinner, and get motivated by our guest speakers as they help you prepare for your race on Sunday. Then after the race, celebrate your accomplishment with your family, friends, and fellow participants at our after race party. We will have food, beer garden and live music!
