BUTS Bearly Ultra

The BUTS Bearly Ultra is designed to be a welcoming trail race for everyone.

First trail race? First ultra? Seasoned runner looking for a new PR? This race is for you! From easily runnable old rail beds to twisty root filled single track, you will get a taste of everything our Alabama trails have to offer. Ike will test your vert skills while the BMRR trails will let you crank out your speed. Take a breath and enjoy the view at Grace’s Gap Overlook and then let your imagination tell you what lives in the old mine shafts. Resist the urge to sit in the overly inviting chairs and swings along the way.

There will be one aid station that you will pass multiple times, and it is always guaranteed to be a good time as well as provide ample refreshments. When you finally reach the finish line, you will be greeted with hot food, cold drinks, and a unique finisher medal to remember your Red Mountain adventure.
