Brown’s Ravine Half & Full Marathon

Description: Come join us for a 95% single track 5% dirt road trail race alongside the beautiful Folsom Lake. Located just outside of the Sacramento, this race is primarily run on the Southside Trail. All very appealing single track, great running, and some technical sections alongside gentle rolling hills in El Dorado county. The trail parallels Folsom Lake, oak trees, lush green grass, nice scenery, views of Folsom Lake, the surrounding foothills, and the snowcapped Sierra Mountains. The Half Marathon race starts at the Brown’s Ravine Assembly Area / Hobie Cove and will finish at the Salmon Falls Parking Lot / Sweetwater Trail Head. Runners will either be shuttled back to the Start line by race staff or can arrange for famile / friends to pick them up directly at the Salmon Falls Parking Lot. The Marathon race will start at the Brown’s Ravine Assembly Area / Hobie Cove and consists of an out and back course with runners running to the Salmon Falls Parking Lot / Sweetwater Trail Head and returning to the START / FINISH at the Brown’s Ravine Assembly Area / Hobie Cove.
