Description:

EPISODE ONE
A 10 Mile Trail Run through the valleys, canyons and high desert of Central Oregon. Find yourself cresting buttes and filling your lungs full of the freshest air of the high desert! Episode ONE is packed with adventure, 100% wild, 75% trail, and 25% paved trail – A full 200%!!! SURFACE SPECIFICS: You will endure some pavement, and game trail, and old skid roads, and dirt trails, and some other odd high desert combinations. We will NOT reveal the course in advance.

5K INFO: There will also be a 5K walk or run. It will be a less adventurous, but excessively beautiful stroll around the Brasada Ranch.

BLACK DIAMOND TRAILOGY
The Brasada Ranch Black Diamond Trilogy EPISODE ONE is just the first of a 3 year series! Participants of the 10 mile adventure will receive a commemorative shirt and medal – COLLECT ALL THREE !!! There will be special awards for those that compete in all three!
Episode 1: April 7, 2018 – 10-mile trail/adventure Run and 5K Run/Walk
Episode 2: April 6, 2019 – Adventure and details will be posted at the conclusion of Episode 1.
Episode 3: April 5, 2020 – Adventure and details will be posted at the conclusion of Episode 2.

SCHEDULE:
Friday, April 6:
7:00-9:00 PM – NO HOST Social in the Brasada Ranch bar
** The restaurant will have some racer specials for those interested.
Saturday, April 7:
11:00 AM: Race check-in at the “Barn”
HIGH NOON: Both events start (chip timed by Scovel Racing).
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Live Entertainment and BEER garden and some snacks. More robust food options will be available for purchase.
2:30 PM – Awards ceremony.

AWARDS: FINISHER MEDALS for the 10-Mile and age-group and overall awards.
