Description:

Created by runners for runners. Join us for a weekend of trail running on the beautiful East Creek Ranch in Los Olivos California. Born To Run Ultra Marathon Extravaganza will feature a Four Day, 100 mile, 50 mile, 30 mile and 10 mile. Mild springtime, coastal climate, gentle rolling hills, single and double track trail, wildflowers, red-tailed hawks, dark blue skies and pristine clean air makes for ideal running environment.

Four Day Run

Born To Run Four Day will start at 12:00pm on Wednesday, April 12 and finish at 12:00pm on Sunday, April 16. We will provide a well marked course, aid approximately every 5 miles and professional chip lap counting. Complete 100 miles within the Four Day allotted time period and receive a 100 Mile Buckle. Special awards will be presented to the male and female who completed the most mileage within the allotted time period.

100 Mile

The 2023 Born To Run 100 Mile Endurance Run with start at 6:00pm on Friday, April 14. The course will be closed at 12:00pm noon on Sunday, April 16. Cut off time is 42 hours.

The course is comprised of 20 mile loops all within a fenced cattle ranch. the course will be well marked, you will not get lost. The course is 100% dirt road and trail. There is approximately 2300 feet of gain per each 20 mile loop.

There will be basic aid approximately every 5 miles. You will pass the Main Camp and your personal vehicle every 10 miles. You are welcome to self crew from your personal vehicle. Pacers are welcome at anytime. Born To Run 100 Mile Buckle will be presented to all 100 mile finishers.

50 Mile

The 2023 Born To Run 50 Mile Endurance Run with start at 7:00am on Saturday, April 15. The course will be closed at 12:00pm noon on Sunday, April 16. The course is comprised of 20 mile loops all within a fenced cattle ranch. the course will be well marked, you will not get lost. The course is 100% dirt road and trail. There is approximately 2300 feet of gain per each 20 mile loop.

30 Mile

10 Mile

The 2023 Born To Run 10 Mile Endurance Run with start at 7:00am on Saturday, April 15. The course will be closed at 12:00pm noon on Sunday, April 16. The course is comprised one 10 mile loop all within a fenced cattle ranch. The course will be well marked, you will not get lost. The course is 100% dirt road and trail.

There will be basic aid approximately every 5 miles. You will start and finish the Main Camp. You are welcome to self crew from your personal vehicle. No pacers.

Course

100% dirt, ranch road and single track trail.
2 single direction loops that start and end and meet in the center.
You will pass your vehicle every 10 miles. You are welcome to self crew out of your vehicle.
Loop one is approximately 10 miles with +2100 feet of vertical gain. Loop one is marked with Green ribbon.
Loop two is approximately 10 miles with +1600 feet of vertical gain. Loop two is marked with Orange ribbon.
Striped ribbon indicates turns.
Blue is bad. Blue ribbons indicate where not to go. Don’t pass Blue ribbons.
