What is “Canicross”? – Read our article Canicross: Trail Racing with your four-legged friend.
Bristol Woods is the perfect host for the annual Boreas Trail Adventure. This beautiful park and trails take you through ups and downs and twists and turns. The 2.5 mile looped course is single track and double-wide trails.
Plan on joining us and being a kid again! The snow-covered trails (fingers crossed) will be all you need to remember the fun you had making snow angels, snowpeople (or snowdogs), snow tunnels, and having snowball fights. (But please only start a snowball fight on the trail with willing participants!) You can tromp through the woods on a 2.5 mile loop, up to 4 loops or 10 miles.
AND… just like when you were a kid, we will be waiting for you with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a warm soup (projected menu) as you enjoy the company of your fellow trail enthusiasts. Please BYO dessert to share! Surprise swag, fun awards, and great company make the ending of your Boreas Trail Adventure one of the most fun things you can do outdoors in February.
If you cannot join us in person you are welcome to join Virtually!
We will have same day sign up for this event and online sign up ends on the Friday before the event at 10am. Packet pick up will start 60 minutes before the start of the Trail and Canicross starting times. You can also pick up your packet at Kenosha Running Company, 1706 – 22nd Ave., Kenosha on Friday from Noon – 5:00pm
