Big Tesuque Trail Run

Starts near Santa Fe Ski Area at Aspen Vista Trail Head. Out and back, following Forest Service road. About 100 runners in ’98. Old Name was Run to the Radio Towers. Starting elev. Is 10,000’, summit is 12,003’ 100% trail.

Santa Fe’s premier trail running event, the “Big T” is held the first Saturday of October, right at the peak of the aspen colors. The course begins at the Aspen Vista trailhead (10,000ft), winds up the forest service road to the towers on Tesuque Peak (12,000ft), then back down. Food, coffee, and refreshments provided. Come out and get your run on.
