Best of San Diego 100 Miler
12350 Black Mountain Rd, San Diego CA, 92129, USA
cutoff time is 24hrs for 100 miles (10hrs for 50 miler, 13hrs for 100K). limit to 25 runners This year will be counter-clockwise loop. This is a fat ass event. There will be no awards, shirts or buckle. I will collect $10 of fee just to cover water and some food. I will setup some basic Aid Stations (most likely just me and my Subaru) to provide water, food and cheers, runners usually like my station though 🙂 . You do need to bring your own food, supplies and gear to carry with you throughout the race (you can leave a small drop bag in my car). This year’s course is a hybrid, by day you are touring the city, jogging along the beach, at night you run the trail and climb the mountains. The course is a 100 miles epic loop around beautiful San Diego with no repeat section. If you can not finish the 100 miles loop or running 50 miler or 100K, you will need to plan/arrange your own transportation back to starting point. There will be no shuttle. There will be no course mark. You will need to navigate and stay on course based on the route maps below. No Race for 2023.
This is not a race for everyone, definitely not a race you can just sign up and run, you will not finish it if you do that. It’s a 100 mile with around 10K ft of ups and downs. Don’t let that mellow elevation gain fool you, trust me it’s not easy to run 100 mile in one day by yourself. To sign up, you’ll need to be a good runner and also be willing to train hard for it, read on. https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=63056
