Description:

The race will be starting out at Linwood Access. It will follow up the Backside trail to Crowders Trail. From Crowders trail it will go to Sparrow Springs Access. Going through the parking lot you will then hit Turnback trail to the Fern trail to the Lake Loop trail. Complete one entire circle around. you will then take Fern trail back to Turnback trail. Continue on to Pinnacle Trail. Then to the top of Pinnacle Mountain on your way out. Then you will take Pinnacle Trail to Ridgeline Trail to the NC/SC State line. Then back to Boulders Access. From Boulders Access you will take Ridgeline Trail back to Pinnacle Trail to the top of Pinnacle Mountain. Then back down to Sparrow Springs Access. From Sparrow Springs Access you will take Crowders Trail to Rocktop Trail. Then from Rocktop Trail you will then travel to Tower Trail down to Linwood Access. We will be running the entire trail system of Crowders Mountain. Both mountain peaks will be summit-ted. You get a nice beautiful view of the lake too. This race is more than a race, it is a celebration of one of the most iconic trail systems right here in the Charlotte area. To finish the 100 miler, has a 32 hour time limit. For the 50 mile it will be a 18 hour cut off. For the 25 miler it will have a 10 hour cut off. The buckle and medals will also be extremely special for anyone who is able to finish.
