Beach to Brother Trail Running Festival

The Beach to Brother Trail Running Festival is back for 2021.

Like many events in 2020, this one too had to be cancelled, but we’re back with a vengeance! Now, it’s time for runners to rule the trails again, it’s time again to race against or run with friends and family.  It’s time to rise!

This year will be the 5th Anniversary run (again).  As we have every year so far, to celebrate we’ll have some new bling for finishers to take home and put on display! We know you all love it….

Runs on offer include a 5km Walk/Run; a 10km Walk/Run; a Half Marathon; a Marathon; and a Team Relay Marathon.

And as always, we will be supporting a charity cause. This year, we will be supporting Cancer Council, raising much needed funds for the organisation to provide a fantastic and well needed service to those in need. Coming soon will be a charity fund raising link that you can register to fund raise directly for Cancer Council.

Due to the current lockdown conditions, and the uncertainty around the dates the restrictions will be lifted, a secondary back-up date of 13 February 2022 has already been scheduled.

Marathon: This individual event starts from Town Beach, Port Macquarie. The course travels along the coastal paths, beaches and trails of Port Macquarie, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills, North Haven, and Laurieton, to finish on the peak of North Brother Mountain, Dooragan National Park, Laurieton. This is a challenging course and is suitable runners that have competed in half-marathon and marathon distance events.
10km: This individual event starts at Camden Haven Surf Club, Grants Beach South. The course travels along the coastal paths, beaches and trails of North Haven and Laurieton to finish on the peak of North Brother Mountain, Dooragan National Park, Laurieton.
