Description:

Join for a fun, family-friendly trail run at 8400 ft. All racers will receive discounted festival tickets. Test your legs and lungs at Antelope Butte Mountain Recreation Area for a fun, family-friendly trail run! Race courses include 4 mile, 8 mile, and 16 mile options. After the race, be sure to enjoy the music festival lasting all afternoon and evening. The 4M course climbs on jeep trails for about 1.5 miles where it levels out for about .5 mile and then descends for a gradual downhill on the XC ski trails to the finish at The Butte. A very enjoyable course for Adults and Youth. Walkers Welcome.8M course climbs on jeep trails for about 3 miles where it merges with FS Road 277. It follows the road for about 2 miles and turns to the NW on FS Road 279 where the course descends rapidly back to the Antelope Butte Finish Line. The course is moderate in difficulty recommended for runners and walkers of all abilities. 16M course climbs jeep trails for about 5 miles to a high point of 9650 on FS Road 278. At the high point the course descends into the Willett drainage. After crossing Willett Creek you will climb out of the drainage onto road 277 merging on to FS 270 and descending rapidly back to the Antelope Butte Finish Line.
