About Amasa Trail Race
Amasa Trail Race takes 25k, 15K, and 10K runners through one of Moab’s most prized trail systems. Start your race along Kane-Springs Creek and experience the vibrant green of Moab in the spring! As you work your way up Cliffhanger Trail, be sure to keep an eye out for petroglyphs carved into the sheer cliffs of Kane Springs Canyon. Before you turn on to the world famous Amasa Back trail, be sure to catch a glimpse of Whale Rock swimming away from the Captain Ahab Trail.  25k runners are treated to drop down into Jackson’s Hole for some smooth double track before joining 15k runners again on the gnarly terrain of Rockstacker Trail. The sparkling Colorado River below will distract you from the technical descent into the finish line! With stunning views of the Behind the Rocks fins and La Sal Mountains and varied trails, Amasa Trail Race is not to be missed!
