Description:

The Akamas Blossom Trail Running Festival will be held on April 2, 2022 in the beautiful Akamas Pensinsula, west Cyprus. This is the final year for the event.
The 60km race: 11-hour cut-off. There are 5 aid stations/checkpoints along the way (20km, 29km, 36km, 45km, 54km). The first 36km follows the 38km race course. From the 36km checkpoint, runners join the 24km course.

The 38km race starts at 7.00am. Runners follow the same route as the ultra runners until they split off down the hill at the 36km mark to the finish. There will be two aid stations/checkpoints–at about 20km and at about 29km. The cut-off for ITRA/UTMB is 7 hours. However, anyone finishing after that time will still be regarded as a finisher and will receive a finisher’s award.

Note that due to the remoteness of the terrain, those doing the 38k loop (the 60k and 38k runners) will need to carry sufficient water/fuel for the first 20km.

The 24km race starts at 9am. It has two aid stations — at about 10km and at about 18km. The cut-off for ITRA/UTMB is 4h30, but anyone finishing after this time will still be regarded as a finisher and will receive a finisher’s award.

For all three races, prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers as well as to the top three women finishers. All finishers receive an attractive finisher’s medal.
