Ahmanson Ranch is the San Fernando Valley’s Best Kept Secret! This is a fun little romp through Upper Las Virgenes Canyon that may include some mud and puddle hopping depending on the weather in April! Located at the west end of the San Fernando Valley, these beautiful trails take you high up on Lasky Mesa to the site of Hollywood filming of “Gone With The Wind” and “Django Unchained” before bringing you down into Las Virgenes Canyon where you will run through lush riparian foliage abundant with spring wildflowers. Yes, there are hills, but “what goes up also comes back down”.
