23 Hours to End Suicide Race

Jun 04, 2016 at 6:00 AM

467 Ski Hill Rd, Lutsen MN, 55612, USA

Join us for Operation 23 to Zero’s first Endurance Race. The race will consist of a 25 mile loop course begining and ending at Lutsen Ski Resort as the route takes you through the amazing beauty the north shore has to offer via trail and forest roads. The race is 23 hours long to complete the longest distance possible within that time. There are three Categories: Individual Male overall, Individual Female overall, and 4 person coed Relay. Relay teams will consist a minimum of a 3:1 gender ratio. We invite all racers both Elite and beginners. We especially invite our Veterans to come out to challenge themselves and push their limits. Why 23 hours you ask? Everyday on average 22 Veterans and 1 Active duty Military service member takes their own life. This epidemic needs to change and come to an End. At Operation 23 to Zero we are making an effort to curb the massive rate of veteran and military suicide through awareness and providing a network of fellow military members to connect with for help and support.
