Directions:: From Blacksburg: Take 460 West up Brush Mountain. Pass Forest service road and at the base of the mountain you will see signs for the Pandapas parking area on your left.
Trail Information: Popular trail near beautiful Pandapas Pond. Main section of trail is technically easy and relatively flat with some rocky spots and two stream crossings. Can gather sizeable puddles during rainy periods.
Off sections of the trail such as prickly pear, jacob's ladder, and snakeroot have much more difficult climbs, but they are also much shorter. For a gorgeous view, take jacob's ladder to the top of the mountain, which has a continued trail on the other side.
The horse nettle trail from the first entrance is very rocky in places and has several fallen trees.
