Directions:: Entrance to Little Cottonwood Canyon (route to Snowbird and Alta ski areas). If driving, park in lot at trailhead adjacent to Snowbird "temperature/road conditions" sign, or across the road at the park-and-ride lot.
Trail Information:: Gradual incline, steeper in places, sometimes rocky, following Little Cottonwood Creek up the canyon. Nice and cool on summer mornings! Ends at old stone millsite (bridge out). Great rushing white water views and roar the whole way. Beautiful in the fall.
Miscellaneous Information:: Rocky in places. Can be an ankle-twister for novices--so pay attention, especially on the downhill return. Wet in a few places in spring/early summer. Trail is shared with mountain bikes, so watch for crazies. Perhaps 4+ miles each way. Pit toilets at trailhead.
