Description:

The Wild Azalea Trail carries the honor of being the longest trail in the state of Louisiana traversing the Kisatchie National Forest. This new year race gives you multiple ways to race the trail with 13,27 or 50 mile running or mountain bike options. This event is a self supporting race with aid tables every 4-5 miles. The course suits primarily the intermediate to advance level of trail runner/biker. The Wild Azalea trail is a well-maintained and mapped trail system so navigation quite reasonable.
