Town Park Pavilion Sunderland – 9:00 AM 14 miles trail run to the summit of Mt Toby and back Description: The Mt Toby Trail Run is a true trail race classic in Western Massachusetts. The course is a 14 mile Toby out and back course over fire roads, hiking, and jeep trails. Runners climb 1900 feet to the summit of 1,269 ft Mount Toby. Once at the summit, runners tag the base of the fire tower and begin the 7 mile descent to to the finish line. The course features total climbing of 2300+ feet. The Toby trails are easy to navigate and the trail conditions are manageable, making Mt Toby Trail Run a great trail race for beginners and seasoned trail runners alike.
